SINGAPORE – Dentsu Singapore has promoted associate creative director Chris Yap (pictured right) to creative director with immediate effect.

Previously from Y&R Singapore, Yap’s 10-month stint at Dentsu has seen the agency grow both creative output and new business wins.

He is charged with accounts including Toyota, Kao and Panasonic, and has won new briefs including Fuji Film, Yoshinoya and the Ministry of Manpower for the agency in the last eight months.

Concurrently, creative group head, Jason Goh (left), will assume Yap’s position and continue to work on the Canon account in a domestic and regional capacity.

Production manager, Agnes Soon (center), has also been promoted to creative services director.

“Chris’ insightful approach to developing creative work complements his humble client-centric demeanour, whereas Jason’s keen understanding of the client’s business has enabled the work to cut across cultures. I’m confident both Chris and Jason will step up to the new challenges for the agency and our clients,” said Anthony Kang, president of Dentsu Singapore.
