SEOUL - DDB Korea Group has won the integrated account for Korea Exchange Bank's (KEB) credit card business after a final-round pitch against Korad and Leo Burnett.

DDB Korea Group will handle the entire communications mix for KEB's credit card services business. This includes advertising, digital, media and sales and promotions. The first campaign is expected to roll out in April.

Korea Exchange Bank is a specialised foreign exchange bank based in Seoul. It is the fifth largest bank in South Korea.

“We are delighted to begin the year by securing the KEB credit card business. As a leading bank in South Korea, with significant brand presence, KEB is a prestigious account that we are proud to call ours,” said Ted Kim, CEO of DDB Korea Group.

Last month, DDB Korea also won the Zespri International and Persil laundry detergent brand accounts.
