Euro RSCG Beijing takes creative assignment for Samsung Mobile

BEIJING - Euro RSCG Beijing has snapped up the above-the-line creative assignment for Samsung Mobile, following a competitive pitch against Saatchi & Saatchi.
The project will include strategy, creative development and execution for new product launch campaigns, including the B7300 launched last month and the upcoming campaigns for the other models.
Samsung Electronics also reported a 186 per cent increase in Q3 profits, with mobile shipments increasing by 16 per cent in the third quarter of the year, compared with last year.
The agency's telecoms client include China Telecom and has previously worked for LG and Ericsson.
“This win is a milestone for the agency, as we build toward being a bona-fide powerhouse in the telecommunications sector,” said Tammy Sheu, group MD, Euro RSCG Beijing and North China.
“In the mobile category, Samsung is not just a market leader in innovation and adapting proactively to consumer needs, it is also a brand with high ambitions and considerable forward momentum.”
The creative account was previously in-house.
