These are unprecedented times for the media industry. Marketers are aggressively reviewing their strategies, and scrutinising every media channel for greater costs and efficiencies. More than ever, they are turning to the region’s media community to develop innovative solutions that go beyond traditional advertising. To celebrate Asia’s strides in media, we are pleased to launch the first-ever Media Thinking awards to honour campaigns that show real insights, true innovation, and strengths in planning and strategy. Together with the first Media Thinking congress, these awards will bring together some of the brightest minds in media planning and provide rare recognition and reward to those who ensure that every dollar of client spend is employed strategically, creatively and - most importantly - effectively. Successful campaigns, brands and agencies will need to demonstrate true imagination, creativity and – especially – effectiveness to impress the judges. The winners will be decided after a rigorous judging process conducted by the most senior players in the region’s media industry. Both the agency behind a successful campaign, as well as the client who demonstrates a clear vision in contributing to a company’s success, will be honoured at the awards presentation event in Singapore.
